How many hair looks can you do for a South Asian wedding?
Our vendors usually offer 1–4 hair looks based on your events: Mehndi/Haldi – relaxed braids, soft curls, or buns, sangeet/garba – glam waves, high ponies, or accessories, wedding day – classic buns with dupatta setting, reception – elegant Hollywood waves, updos, or modern glam.
Do you also pin the dupatta and jewelry?
Yes! Our vendors offer bridal packages that typically include dupatta setting (front/back styles), tikka and jhoomar placement, gajra or flower styling. They ensure it’s secure for all-day wear (and dancing!).
How long does bridal hairstyling take?
About 1 to 1.5 hours, depending on the look and complexity (plus time for dupatta/jewelry pinning if needed).
Should I do a hair trial before the wedding?
It’s highly recommended! A hair + makeup trial help test styles with your face shape and outfit. We recommend deciding between updo, down-do, or braid, lock in accessories like matha pattis or flowers.
What should I do before my hair appointment?
Our vendors recommend washing your hair the night before (unless advised otherwise), avoid heavy conditioners, oils, or serums, come with clean, dry hair unless told otherwise and bring any accessories or clip-ins/extensions if you're using them.
Can I use hair extensions or padding?
Yes! Our vendors work with clip-ins, buns, padding, or natural volume depending on the look. Discuss the plan ahead of time for prepping.
Do you offer styling for bridesmaids, moms, and guests?
Absolutely! Our vendors offer group packages or a la carte options for bridesmaids, moms, aunties, cousins, flower girls or junior bridesmaids.
How long does each non-bridal hairstyle take?
Usually 30–45 minutes per person, depending on the style and accessories.
Can you do cultural or traditional styles?
Yes! Our vendors are experienced with South Indian braids with flowers/jada, Punjabi parandi braids, elegant Sikh bridal buns and modest styles for Muslim weddings.
Can I show you reference photos or Pinterest inspo?

Can you style my hair around a matha patti or jhoomar?
Definitely—our vendors specialize in styling around headpieces, veils, and dupattas to make sure everything blends seamlessly.
Can you include fresh flowers or gajra?
Yes—either bring your own flowers, or our vendors can help arrange it if pre-planned.
How far in advance should I book my hair stylist?

What setup do you need on the day?
It is recommended to organize a chair + small table, good lighting (natural light preferred!), a power outlet for tools and a space to lay out accessories and tools.
Do you offer hair + makeup packages?
Yes! Most artists collaborate with or are part of a hair + makeup duo/team and offer bundle pricing.
Is a deposit required?
Yes—most stylists require a non-refundable deposit and signed contract to secure your date.
Do you stay for touch-ups or outfit changes?
Yes! Our stylists offer touch-up packages and look transitions (ex: wedding to reception). This can be added to your package or billed hourly and recommend discussing in detail while signing the contract.
What if my hair doesn’t hold curls or frizzes easily?
Our vendors come prepared with heat protectants, anti-frizz sprays, texture products, and pins galore. If needed, they may suggest prepping your hair a certain way to ensure it lasts.
Can you work with all hair textures and types?
Yes! Our stylists are experienced with South Asian hair types, but also work with curly, coily, fine, and thick hair from all backgrounds.
